His name is Paolo Moccia, his restaurant is "Pizzeria da Orlando" , located in Cà de Caroli (Scandiano) and he is the winner of the 2022 PIZZA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, the International competition which saw this year 750 participants coming from 40 countries with the same passion for PIZZA, baking in Parma from April 5 to 7!
Paolo Moccia is the WORLD CHAMPION with his "Mantovana" Pizza, e recipe inspired by the Emilian classic "Tortelli di Zucca", in fact the pizza contains squash and our Balsamic vinegar Pearls, added right after taking it out of the oven. His BALSAMIC PIZZA won the first prize in the category PIZZA CLASSICA among other 450 contestants! The various prizes and awards include 1 ton of flour, which will for sure enable him to bake for a while....
